By accessing and using My Clone Journal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
Description of Service
My Clone Journal is a privacy-first personal journaling application that allows you to:
- Create and manage personal journal entries
- Store entries securely in your Google Drive
- Track your journaling progress and analytics
- Use AI-powered features (Pro subscribers)
- Access your journal from any device
User Accounts
Account Creation
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Privacy and Data
Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all your journal entries and personal data. We do not claim any rights to your content.
Data Storage
Your journal entries are stored in your personal Google Drive account, not on our servers. We only store metadata for analytics purposes.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. We will permanently delete your data from our systems within 30 days.
Subscription and Payment
Free Tier
Basic journaling features are available free of charge with some limitations.
Pro Subscription
Pro features include AI-powered conversations, advanced analytics, and priority support. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use our service to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit harmful or malicious content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the service for commercial purposes without permission
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
Intellectual Property
Our Content
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by My Clone Journal and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Your Content
You retain all rights to your journal entries and personal content. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or updates.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Clone Journal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the app. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
